I'm in a choir preparing for a virtual concert due to COVID and I needed a STRONG tripod ring light that could hold my phone and iPad so I could finish numerous shots could we had to do . That was excellent! Each telescope section is fixed and does not move. It's easy to adjust and keeps my iPhone 8s and iPad Air 10.5 inch flat. I've previously bought another ring light stand with just a phone holder, but it used the twist lock method to lock the telescoping arms in place. The higher you lifted it, the weaker it got and it either fell down or unlocked. Not JACKYLED! It's absolutely perfect if you want to record a virtual choir with your iPhone and iPad!
