Review on Prismacolor Colored Pencils Dial Point by Angela Rodriguez

Revainrating 5 out of 5

These pens are of good quality and easy to blend.

First, the pens came a little later than the date indicated. They were well packaged and when opened they fit perfectly as I expected. I use these pencils to draw different horses for my father. Each horse drawn represents horses he owned and/or rode during his young cowboy days. Colored pencils Prismacolor Premier. I have used this pencil brand in the past when they were called "Berol" and I really enjoyed working with them. These concretes have a soft lead and cannot be rubbed off easily after application. Also, because they have a soft lead, the pencil wears out faster than pencils with a hard lead. After finishing the first drawing I need to add some brown and black tones before drawing the next horse in this series. All in all these pens work great and I would recommend them. Find out where you can buy individual pens so you have a backup of the colors you tend to use more than others. This saves you time and nerves. If this is your first time using this type of pencil, buy some stubs for shading, some good quality erasers (not pink!), some hard sketching pencils (for starters), and some good quality acid-free art paper. . You will not regret it. There are cheaper brands of colored pencils out there, but keep in mind that most don't blend well and the colors are less vibrant. Don't be afraid to make mistakes and have fun! ♥️🔆♥️
