Not close well for styling tools and implements
They would not close and stay closed. Less than a minute after the tilt they opened. Most also got caught on the plastic plugs in my hair. I have very long hair, and while the length of the wands was good, the wands did not "close" when rotated, even though the wands were more than enough length without having hair on them. I would not recommend them. More than 80% of them were outside in the morning, which was because they put on a hat while sleeping.
