I was mainly interested in this kit to extend the life of my gearbox. Once the magnets in Honda manual transmissions become saturated with metal particles, the ball bearings (particularly) at both ends of the input shaft will seize over time, even with regular oil changes. The transmission drain plug allows you to clean metal splinters without having to disassemble and open the transmission. Huge plus. High quality product. Fits my 2002 Honda Civic Si (manual transmission). The manufacturer would be doing themselves a favor by providing installation instructions and some general information about this connector set. I installed a short connector in the transmission and a long connector in the engine oil pan.
