Bottom line: I would definitely recommend and buy these reels again. I've bought them twice already. I really like her! They are very well made, with ball bearing construction and a thick steel frame and mounting plate. The wheels feel solid polyurethane and don't feel cheap at all. The wheels turn easily and handle the load perfectly. I have them on a 3' x 6' desktop with a marble top, 4 x 4 legs, tool rack and hardwood, heavy cast iron lathe and 12" miter saw. The wheels don't even sweat. At that weight (500 lbs/225 kg) it spins STILL fairly light. The double locking feature works great and is strong enough for me to do rough cuts on my wood lathe (tons of vibration). Buy it. You won't regret it. Unless I'm unlucky enough to stumble upon gold. Twice. months apart.
