I bought this screen after my laptop screen went blank. It was still lit, but it was just a lit black screen. I found a video on YouTube showing how to replace it. During the installation I found an unreliable connection which could be the cause of the problem. Since I had it I replaced the screen anyway and it works great. There are no dead pixels.
