Review on 👕 Goodthreads Lightweight Short Sleeve Burgundy X-Small Shirt by Matt Nichols

This was my first purchase from Revain (Goodthreads). After looking around for a while I decided to give this Henley a try. I have a pair of Henleys which are my absolute favorite tops from Olivers Apparel, they are excellent but expensive, about $100 each. So I decided to try a "budget" alternative and buy this $20 Henley from Goodthreads. Conclusion: The old adage applies: You get what you pay for. For the price I guess I can't complain. It really fits and looks decent except for the stiff collar; but there is a big difference in the material. The $100 Olivers feel like a feather in my shoes—insanely light, breathable, and comfortable. I felt like I was in a potato sack by comparison. At $20 it's decent, but the biggest sacrifice you're making with a cheap price tag (as I've found on this and other previous purchases) is the material. You can give cheap stuff a certain look, but you can't imitate the superior feel, functionality, and look of good stuff. I'd rather have 1 great shirt I love wearing than 5 shirts I avoid.
