Review on 🚶 AGSHOME ZIGBEE Motion Sensor - Enhanced compatibility with Echo Plus, Echo Studio, and Echo Show 2nd Generation by Antonio Bacon

Revainrating 5 out of 5

So far so good with motion detector

I bought 4 of them but only installed one so far. I'm trying to figure out where I'm going to use the others. I bought two for my house and two for my parents house. The one currently used is with my parents. You have a covered front door. So it shouldn't get wet if it rains and it hasn't rained yet. I used to have a flashlight there. I replaced that light with this motion sensor and attached a wifi lightbulb to a regular outlet above the entryway. I created a routine so now if anyone approaches this area at night, the lights will come on and all Echo devices will say "Someone is at the front door." The light will not turn on during the day, but it will still alert you that someone is at the door. As they don't live on a busy road and you need to be close to their front door on purpose as it is so far from the road. The probability of false alarms is low. Except for the cat. Which I think provoked the cat because it could jump out of an area in the sensor's field of view. It works and I really hope the remaining three will be the same and if they don't work I will definitely change my rating. Add. I can't believe it's $20.99 now. Why is this? However, at my house, two of my Sylvania motion sensors just stopped connecting to my Echo Show. So I pulled these two AGSHOME sensors and they work. The one I used at my parents' house still works. As I mentioned before, the entrance is closed so the rain can't bother it. However, sun and shadow are another matter, they are very sensitive to any kind of movement, so keep that in mind. I've been thinking about buying more, but for $20.99 I'm skipping the sale. Black Friday is only a few days away. I hope the price goes down.
