Received the kit today. Looked at her and walked off. You will need a T40 star bit, a 12mm socket and a 2-socket ratchet. With the trunk lid supported by another person, a piece of wood, or whatever you have handy, remove one side at a time to hold the lid fully open. Use T40 to remove the support on one side, then use a 12mm socket to install and tighten the support ball. Now simply snap the bracket into place so that the exposed piston side (shiny side) of the bracket is facing down. Rinse and repeat for the other side and you're done. It literally takes 10 minutes or less and you'll no longer get hit in the head by the trunk lid when loading and unloading things from the trunk.
