My problem, there is no angle adjustment, I should have noticed that.

Okay, partly I'm buying this to upgrade the padded seat, which I also ordered. The stock bike seat that was on my Aventure e-bike is too hard for my old ass and all that leaning around didn't help. The first thing that struck me about this seatpost is that there is NO angle adjustment, just a rail clamp. I really hope this is ok for my needs. So much for cheap, I'll have to see if I can somehow use the stock tilt mechanism with this springy post. I may have to spend and buy an expensive seatpost that I was hoping to avoid by blowing my budget on hardware for a new bike. But I'm a beginner in cycling, so I'm starting from scratch. Not much of my motorcycle touring gear is satisfactory.
