Review on Delphi DS10066 Ignition Control Module by Brian Rogel

Revainrating 4 out of 5

A 1989 Buick Riviera would not start one morning. It turns out my ICM is dead. This and the new coil pack fixed it like new.

1989 Buick Riviera: The car stumbled/overshot occasionally under part throttle, which I couldn't fix even with full tuning. Then one morning it wouldn't start, attributing it to a burned out ignition controller. The coil was leaking and was replaced. Now it works perfectly without stumbles and dropouts. Would have been 5 stars but the screws provided weren't long enough so I had to buy longer ones (M5x.8x30 screw). Otherwise everything was fine and the machine is now working perfectly.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • old
