I gave this review 5 stars to begin with. After 5 months of use, read the full review to the end. Completely satisfied with the product, even if instructions and support are non-existent. The device was connected and working with the following exceptions. 1. The 2 green wires in the wiring harness must be connected together to get sound. 2. I use a wireless backup camera. Initially I powered the camera receiver with a pink wire labeled "Switch +" but when the camera didn't work I found that the voltage on that wire was only 3 volts so I had to get another 12 volt - Find cable with a + key. My 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee has two cigarette lighter sockets, one is shorted and the other is key operated. I used 18/22 gauge quick connectors to make all the connections so I didn't have to cut any leads and they worked fine. The main power lines are 18 gauge, but the power lines for the wireless transmitter and receiver are 22 gauge. FYI - I have a trailer hitch. It's OEM, but whatever. This Jeep has a sunroof and I didn't want to go through the hassle of removing the molding from the sunroof to mount the camera on the license plate, so I bought a rubber hitch cover at a local auto shop and installed a peephole camera in the middle of the clutch cover. The camera comes with a hole drilling attachment capable of drilling through metal but I wanted to try it first and it works fine. I don't tow much so I'll probably leave it as is and remove the tow cover. The camera has a break on a two foot cable that comes out the back of the hitch. It was easy to route the transmitter cable from the backup cables on the taillight to the camera connection point.3. Android 7.1 with 2GB RAM works very well. Be careful not to buy one that's a little cheaper and looks the same but only has 1GB of RAM. There's also a cheaper option that looks the same but has Windows CE, which is old technology compared to Android 7.1. DVDs play well, as does streaming video such as Netflix, YouTube, Revain Prime, etc. Initially I had sound from all of these devices but no video, even with the car parked and the brakes applied. Go to "Settings" and scroll down to "Auto". Click on "Driving Settings" and check the "Allow me to watch videos while driving" check box. Then you need to be parked while surfing.4. Apps are easy to download and install over Wi-Fi, either from my home router or my phone's hotspot. 5. Installed GPS/Moving Map works fine and I'm using it outside of cellular coverage. For more information, I downloaded and installed the WAZE Android app, which I connect to my phone's WiFi hotspot and use most of the time. Follow-up August 3, 2018 - The radio just stopped receiving radio signals, both AM and FM. , after 5 months of use, so just static noise. Sound is normal on all other apps like Netflix, YouTube etc. I reconnected the old radio to check the antenna and the reception is fine so the problem is with this new radio. There is no manufacturer contact information and the seller has not responded to a request for the Chinese manufacturer's contact information, so I'm SOL. Contractually, the seller's right of return expires two months from the date of purchase and the seller's support expires after 3 months. There is another seller who seems to have the same radio with a different brand that advertises a 12 month seller warranty but I don't know how good that is. This can be a good reason to purchase warranty protection in the US. Luckily for now I can use the Android WiFi app to stream from the internet using my phone's hotspot.
