Beck Arnley make quality products at a great price. No surprises, it's just a solid case. It comes with two new set screws that appear to be brass or brass plated. This is likely to avoid reactions with electricity or chemicals. I think what this cover does is that it has metal grommets in the mounting holes. It may seem trivial, but it provides a secure fit without the risk of ripping the cap from overtightening. Will it keep everything from collapsing? No, probably not. But every little thing helps. I'm sure if it's tight it's safe, but not too tight. A ruined cap can definitely ruin your day, especially when you're out in the middle of nowhere. I broke new parts installing them, and that's no fun either. Especially if it's your own fault. To me this shows that Beck Arnley is aware of the problems that other baseball caps have and that they have solved some of the problems. These caps fit perfectly on my Toyota 89 4x4 which currently has 265,000 miles on it. I had about 30,000 miles on the last Beck Arnley DC before I bought this one. The old lid still worked fine but I thought my usual setup was way too over the top so it's time for another. You might think a cheap economy top is better, and that's fine, but some have clocked 3,000,000 miles and oxidized. , or malfunctioning to the point where I had to replace them. So now I just get it. There are probably better ones out there but for the price I doubt you could do better. I've never had a problem with Beck Arnley parts. Combine this cap with NGK spark plugs and wires, a few dabs of dielectric grease, anti-seize and a Beck Arnley rotor and you'll be ready to go long and easy. change when the time comes.
