Red heart has captured my heart since my grandma taught me to knit my first granny square blanket when I was 7! This is the only brand she has ever used. It is a durable yarn that is likely to grow out when worn in a sweater or knit and will color quickly in the process. I have one of my Grammy throws she made before I was born, I'm 67 and it still fits and hasn't faded! I LOVE the jumbo skein as it allows me to make my Trinity scarves at least 55 inches solid color on #11 needles with 63 stitches and I only have to mark the beginning and end of the ends. VERY few nodes found in Red Heart. I have completed 9 shawls since March (about 5 months each with a solid red heart) and NO KNOTS! Highly recommended. The prices here seem high for most colors, but the $6.44 free basic shipping is cheaper than our local Wal-Mart store. $6.49 if they have any merchandise on the shelves at all (I hate Wal-Mart anyway and even more so now with Covid). far, so add gas and time for a higher price than Revain's $6.44 paints shipped right to your door!
