I bought a bike rack for 4 bikes and it was too big and too heavy. It stuck out about 5 feet from his back and weighed about 85 pounds. I have since returned it after my return was approved but they have not contacted me again. I contacted them about a month after I was supposed to get a refund and they decided not to issue the refund and explained that it had been picked up and damaged. To be fair I returned it assembled because I used it and threw away the boxes I opened. It wasn't mentioned anywhere in the return instructions, it had to be put back in the box. But they never contacted me. You just saved my money and the shelf. So I should be fine if I don't have $400? Where is it legal? Photos of the shelf I sent back claiming it was damaged (these are the photos of the shelf they sent me). I don't even see the damage they claim. Maybe we can all get away with it, so I snapped this shot of a polar bear in a snowstorm. This company does not have a phone number. If you don't like something, you're on your own. Maybe Amazon will intervene, maybe not. But these guys suck. This concludes the evaluation of the company. Now to the boat anchor of the bike rack. First off I'm not kidding, this thing weighs about the same as a boat anchor, no small ones, I'm talking a deadly catch that will keep a 100ft fishing boat at sea. It weighs more than all 4 bikes I put on it. Security, there are only 2 locks because if you block the upper hook, theoretically they cannot move the hook that holds the bike to the lower hook. But they can move the pallets that the bikes sit on just enough to pull the bikes out, so security is as bad as the company. Easy to fix, bring your own padlock and don't rely on cheap crap to protect your expensive crap. Storage - I hope you have a shed or large wall space that you don't use much. Make sure you secure this thing with hooks or something similar because if it slides off the wall and lands on your child's front wheel, it will bend the rim of the front wheel. At least he didn't step on anyone's toes. On a positive note, it popped up when not in use, but I just took it off because it rendered the tailgate useless. 4. Bike position to reduce tongue weight (some engineers are missing the obvious) or sell it in just two bike sizes. I wouldn't advise you to buy this behemoth as there are many other racks on the market that can cost a little more, but the company has a helpdesk # you can call and they'll help you troubleshoot the issue. In addition, other racks are lighter and shorter and can be operated relatively easily by 1 person. Go to a reputable bike rack manufacturer or don't, there are many good bike racks out there but not this one. Look at the weight and size and wonder if it can be folded for storage as it doesn't. I'll let you know if/when the company will contact me again to fix the issue, but just grilling for now.
