TL:DR – It does what it's supposed to do, no fuss, no fuss. Details? Well, some assembly is required, but I made it without bloody sacrifices to the Assembly of the Gods. It's a rarity. The kit includes all the necessary parts and tools for assembly, and each kit of parts is housed in a separate labeled bag within the bandolier. Very pretty. The same applies to TV mounts. However, you will need a Phillips screwdriver and a tape measure for this step. Make sure they are on hand. The instructions are well written and organized and properly illustrated so you can line up the parts correctly on the first try. Keep it tidy and secure and it is easy to assemble. tips? 1- You will need a third hand early on to attach the post to the base (which is piano black, nice but attracts fingerprints). Alternatively, you can take a drawer or two at the right height to support the riser and work horizontally. Much quicker and easier.2- The crossbar to which the TV is attached consists of two parts that are firmly attached to each other with two screws. The metal is thick and obviously heavy and could probably support more than the recommended weight. But I wouldn't try. If it says 88 pounds, believe them. 3- When it comes time to install the TV, ask someone to help you. You don't want an accident at the end of the game. Enjoy viewing.
