I have researched and bought many irons over the years. My last two were Sunbeam (has stopped vaping) and Maytag, which my wife says leaked like a sieve. With a $$ product guarantee and a few more, I decided to go all out with this Rowenta 1750W. With a fashionable and elegant appearance, simple functions and solid construction, this is truly an exceptional instrument. I'm a tool fanatic, I loathe junk and this iron is a dream to use. That's really the difference between driving a cheap import car and a BMW sports series. I can even start ironing my own shirts! LAUGH OUT LOUD
