In my search for travel games I came across a range of cheaply made (and inexpensive) magnetic games. These games (I know them from dollar store experiences) are short-lived and more frustrating than entertaining. Then I came across the Purple Cow series of magnetic travel games. I just ordered two to start. Hangman and this game Tic-Tac-Toe/4 in a row. I enjoy making fun entertainment in restaurants that is NOT electronics related and can be interesting for all ages. I was so happy when I received these well packaged games in the mail. They come in a sturdy tin with a lid that snaps open and stays shut. All your magnetic tiles are in it. You just have to separate them and arrange the right pieces with the right game in these two games. Tic-Tac-Toes occupy one side of the inside of the glass and 4 in a row occupy the other side. Then you are ready to play! There is also no risk of these magnets falling out of place, they are durable and designed to stay where you put them. Plus, the slim profile makes the tin case easy to slip into your pocket or purse, or carry around discreetly! As I said, I have a hangman (which is also excellent) but I definitely plan to buy more. You can't go wrong with this set! Enjoy!
