Review on Crankbrothers Mini Bike Tools Multi 19 Tool Set in Black with Carrying Case by Daniel Oliver

Spoke wrenches have a design flaw - they don't work on e-bikes!

When trying to use this tool on my e-bike rear hub spokes, I discovered a design flaw. I have big thick spokes to cope with the power of the electric motor. Requires the largest wrench size for 3 spokes. Thoughtfully designed, this tool has a #3 spoke slot built into the chain tool. Unfortunately, they mixed up the large faces of #3 and connected it with a smaller spoke groove that should have connected to #0 and #1 on the other side of the key. They made a mistake and added the thin needle groove with large wrenches for #2 and #3 needles and the large needle groove with smaller wrenches. too thin, i can't put the key on the spoke properly to get the right angle. This means the only way to use it as a spoke wrench is to tighten the nut at a 45 degree angle and so after a few turns you will be rounding flat surfaces and ruining the spoke. In general I like this tool. It seems like a premium and thoughtful design, but there's definitely a jamb here. I'm taking my Dremel tool and sanding this groove so it's a really useful tool but it needs fixing and I think it's worth checking out. Some CAD guys who missed this should be ashamed, and the guys who approved the casting and did the QC checks should also be given more attention.
