This is a fantastic chest protector! My son had heart surgery as an infant and the type of surgery he had shouldn't hit him hard in the chest! His cardiologist approved him to play basketball and this protector put our minds at ease thanks to the fact that this shirt is extremely durable, dissipates impact and can withstand MANY washes! He was very well armed and didn't even feel it! He's quite small at 4ft 6in and weighs 60lbs! I bought him a youth environment! It's not tight, but when it's tucked in, it's a good fit! I will definitely be purchasing this shirt for years to come! He also likes it because he doesn't get hot while playing and it's very light!
