These straws disappointed me and are not suitable for a bean. The tip, while sharp, is too blunt to pierce the plastic wrap that covers most bean-based drinks, making this straw useless - the few times I've tried to use it I've had to borrow a plastic straw from a friend, to first pierce my drink before using this one, but that defeats the point. Silicone tips are pleasant to the touch but difficult to apply and clean. I would recommend people to look elsewhere as it was a waste of money for me.
