Review on Wi-Fi Connected iRobot Roomba E5 (5150) Robot Vacuum - Works with Alexa, Ideal for Pet Hair, Carpets and Hard Floors - Self-Charging, Black by Jongil Baek ᠌

I don't want to spend my money on this item.

I bought it because of the brand and a big discount. I end up tearing my hair out of frustration. For this money (and even much cheaper), you could buy a much more efficient, smart cleaning robot. I admit that the top model of this manufacturer has fewer drawbacks and copes with the tasks set much more successfully, but it also costs space money. This model cleans the room randomly, does not remember the route traveled, gets stuck wherever you can get stuck, gets confused in the wires. When sent “home” to the base, while continuing to vacuum, it also randomly poke in all corners until it randomly enters the room where the docking station is located, and only when it is in the visibility zone, it goes to the parking lot. All the few advantages of this model are leveled by the negative impression of its use. I repeat, there are models on the market that, for much less money, are able to build a map of the premises, passing through those places where they have not been yet, and not calling in where they have already been. Equipped with numerous sensors that do not allow you to get stuck, do not run into the same obstacle a hundred times, recognize wires and curtains and know how to extricate yourself elegantly from them. The application deserves a separate discussion. Raw, low-functional, constantly losing touch with the "cloud". For example, try to find out the serial number of your robot through the application. It redirected me to the FAQ section with a blank page. My verdict: the brand is grossly overrated, marketing and advertising makes it the iPhone among robotic vacuum cleaners. But this is far from true. This particular model is stupid, stupid, wasted money.

Pros
  • Rubber rollers that are easy to clean. Fairly ergonomic.
Cons
  • Dull and ineffective.
