Review on ๐Ÿงผ Tightvac - Vacuum Sealed Container - 5oz to 24 Ounce Capacity - White Cap/White Body by Sophia Medina

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Attention: Styrene No. 6 plastic is used! BPA and lye poison food! I'll send everything back as soon as possible!

This plastic contains BPA, which is terrible (because coffee beans absorb it, especially when they're fresh, and ground coffee even more!) for sale (you're listening to Tightvac! ). The product description is very creative as they avoid this by talking to the NSF food safety authorities (dating back to the 1940's - erm...when lead was A-Ok) to avoid their product leaching toxins. The number 6 (see my photo) indicates that this polystyrene plastic (google it yourself) contains the toxins styrene and benzene, neurotoxins believed to be carcinogenic and dangerous to humans. Food and liquids actually begin to partially break down the Styrofoam, allowing some of the toxins to be absorbed into our blood and tissues. TightVac/CoffeVac. . An amazing patent is worth nothing if you want to poison us with your chosen cheap plastic! Please change it and happily buy it if they fix it! [GO W GLASS PEOPLE!] Shipping back today!

Pros
  • Wide opening for easy scooping
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
