Super easy assembly. The instructions recommend a distance of 50 to 150 mm from the pole tip to the first bracket. I first tried 50mm for the max height but that compromised stability and made it a little heavy. Reduced to 100mm and all is well. For reference, I have a 50 inch Toshiba TV. The only gripe I have is that the clips you have to attach to the back leg to manage the cable didn't have adhesive. So I have to do it myself.
