Review on ๐ŸŒ€ Vornado PivotC Clip On Fan with Multi-Surface Mount, Black - Personal Air Circulator by Eden Smith

Waste of money: The fan needs to be cleaned regularly, but there is no way to do it properly.

There is absolutely no way to open it to delete it! I officially broke mine trying to remove the front to properly clean the blades. The decorative cover on the front is for decoration only. I screwed it up forever to no avail. Eventually I took it off and found that it was held in place with a single screw that wasn't really meant to be unscrewed. I then took a flat head screwdriver to try and pry off the front panel and ended up breaking the whole thing. I had no idea that such a small fan would be so difficult to open and clean. I threw away the little booklet that came with it so I googled until I got frustrated enough on how to open it to clean it and the instructions were valuable to say the least. They say your PIVOT needs regular cleaning because it moves a significant amount of air. The fan contains no user-serviceable parts and should not be opened for cleaning. Never clean the product other than as specified in this user manual.1. Turn off and unplug the device before cleaning.2. Wipe off the dust or wipe the circulation pump with a damp cloth.3. Use the brush attachment on your household vacuum cleaner to remove accumulated dust. What the hell?!?! A fan that needs regular cleaning but cannot be disassembled to properly clean it is a complete failure. I hate you Vornado! Is that a bad joke?! It's going in the trash and I'm going to get Honeywell tomorrow. PS I don't have a vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment!
