Review on 🔥 Copper Heatsink C7 Cu by CRYORIG by Eduardo Reyes

This is the best radiator of its size. If you need a sub 48mm CPU cooler, you won't find a better one. However, there are two problems with this cooler. First, it's a fan. This cooler uses the same fan but in a different aesthetic than the aluminum c7. It's known for being annoyingly noisy, and that doesn't change here. The fan is also custom mounted to the heatsink. So if you want to replace it, you need to buy an adapter or make another solution yourself. Second, this is the back. The back panel is an all-in-one solution, which means it's huge. It interferes with rear-mounted m.2 drives on Mini-ITX motherboards and can interfere with other components on the back of the motherboard PCB. They include an alternative solution using washers instead of a backplate. It technically works, but doesn't look healthy. The pressure that the CPU cooler exerts on the socket is extremely high. That's why there are backplates to spread that extra power over it. With the wash solution, the motherboard warps and bends around the socket in a very unhealthy way. I ended up taking my dremel and sanding down some of the extra back plates that I will never use. There is no reason for this to be an issue if they only include multiple designed backplates for each socket configuration. At this premium price, that should be included, not some weird puck fix. There are places on the internet where you can find a 3D printed fan adapter that will fit a standard 92mm fan. I bought one ($10) and replaced the fan with a 92mm Noctua Slim fan. The height is the same, but the noise is much lower. An expensive solution, but it gives you the best air cooler for a 48mm CPU currently available. Doesn't seem to be available anymore. Rumor has it that a graphite-coated version is being worked on, which is supposed to replace this even better one. Unfortunately, the fan and rear panel have not changed.
