Ever since I bought a new house 8 years ago I've had to tiptoe around my damn record player to keep the needle from jumping. Eventually I gave up and tried these little squares of rubber stoppers, thinking they would be good junk to throw away or throw in the fire. I was wrong. Now that I've been spinning records, I no longer have to tiptoe around trying not to jump off the needle. I know it sounds silly, but god I can't imagine life without these little things now.
