Review on WIX Filters 57997 Cartridge Metal by Jontrell Fernandes

I was a little skeptical about this WIX oil filter for my M3 as most BMW enthusiasts would consider any deviation from the OEM material to be blasphemy. But after receiving the WIX filter I immediately compared it to an OEM BMW oil filter I have on hand. And the result? The assembly quality of the WIX filters is simply at the highest level! The body of the filament looks exactly like the OEM filter, as does the inside of the filter (rib cage for structural reinforcement). The WIX kit comes with rubber O-rings and drain plug washers, just like the OEM kit. Solid purchase!
