This review refers to the wireless garbage switch. more traditional air breakers that require you to drill a hole in the counter. But it was fast, very easy, and very accessible, so I gave it a try. But when I got the switch I decided to play with the placement and eventually decided not to put it on the countertop. Instead, I put it in the top drawer next to the sink, right on the back of the drawer so it doesn't get in the way of using the drawer. There it is completely invisible, works great and doesn't take up any space. I think this switch is great and the best place for it is mounted in a drawer or cabinet or maybe on the bottom of a cabinet if you have over sink cabinets. The bottom line is that you can place the switch almost anywhere and it will work just fine. I am very picky but I am very happy with this switch and cannot recommend this product enough!
