Excellent quality. We are very happy with this leash. Our 55 pound golden doodle went through 3 elasticated Petsmart leashes. At $20-$25 each, I should have just bought this in the first place. She's a tough pup, and indeed just a bite or two will break the integrity of the Kong's elastic leashes. At first the leash will smell like Wilson's leather goods store (I don't mind, it was pretty nice). It'll go away in a week or two. Because genuine leather is initially strong, it will weaken with frequent use and simple hand flexing. The bag you receive it in is beautiful and shows that the company takes pride in their work. It is made in Mexico. and if this line catches on then hopefully they can move their operations to the US and proudly produce them here.
