So I bought this about 1 year ago. The product looks very well made and heavy. I was very excited to be in my sling. Finally it's time to merge my loop. Unfortunately, when I try to open the valve, it gets stuck in the closed position. I couldn't open the valve. It turned my loop drain into a nightmare just because this product was defective. I have always bought EK products and will buy EK blocks but will not be buying EK fittings in the near future. I have many EK products on my loop but this was just a big disappointment and I am sorry to find that this product was defective the day I had to drain my loop. This product is now in the bin.
