DO NOT buy this collar! I have a golden retriever and an aussie. When I bought these collars (I ordered two collars and a receiver), I carefully read and followed the instructions, even read the instructions for use. I've started with the shortest leashes at the lowest setting possible, used the collars for a short time and they make my dogs bleed! It didn't take long for our sweetheart to have seizures due to an infection from his injuries. At first we didn't know what was causing his injuries but the vet shaved his throat and when we used the collar again he started bleeding on the shortest and lowest static levels. We checked our Aussie and sure enough he had a few spots with crusts that were spaced just as far apart where the weights are. Save your dogs and go the other way! Luckily my dog made a full recovery including seizures when we stopped using these collars.
