Great system, terrible charging port

I have this model with an extra collar for two dogs. The collars are excellent, the remote control is excellent, everything works perfectly BUT. The charging connector between the collar and the charger is thin. We all have battery powered devices these days and most connections are great. It's not like this. They don't snap, they're loose, and I have to place the collar where it is, on the charging socket, for it to actually connect and charge. I will probably buy again. This is just one…

Bad product and terrible customer service from Revain and SportDog

Product does not work as advertised. Bought the product because of the display and the orange color (easy to find). However, the beeper, vibration and intermittent discharge function do not work at a level suitable for training. I have training experience and have used other training collars in the past. We spent over an hour using Revain and then SportDog to troubleshoot both devices to no avail. Our current dog has a short coat and we don't want to shave the hair where the collar is (her…

My dogs were bleeding causing skin infections and seizures!

DO NOT buy this collar! I have a golden retriever and an aussie. When I bought these collars (I ordered two collars and a receiver), I carefully read and followed the instructions, even read the instructions for use. I've started with the shortest leashes at the lowest setting possible, used the collars for a short time and they make my dogs bleed! It didn't take long for our sweetheart to have seizures due to an infection from his injuries. At first we didn't know what was causing his injuries

YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY!

It's amazing. I only use it when my dog is away on business or hanging out with us. I've had it for about a month and a half and I've only charged it once. as this is the first load. MARVELOUS! I use this product to keep my dog in the garden. My dog (standard poodle) can be stubborn and this has stopped him. He has up to ten stimulant levels, and at level 3-4 it gives him a big correction so he doesn't try to leave the garden. It also has a vibration option that mostly works the same as the…

Just what I needed for collars, harnesses and leashes

I have 3 dogs. 2 labrador puppies (9 months old) and 1 boxer 3.5 years old. I like to take them for walks, but I prefer to go off-leash. We have an invisible fence so they are already used to how the collars work. I love that each dog can have their own stimulation and I've gotten pretty good at switching between the three. Generally the beep is enough, but I use a stun gun if I need to call them after an encounter with porcupines or my yellow boy who likes to surf. I take them swimming and…

The charging plug is complete nonsense. Who decided it was a good idea? The cord just sits in the collar. The remote plug works great, snaps in and stays in place with good contact. The end of the collar doesn't make good contact at all. You plug it in and walk away only to find it doesn't charge at all. I balance and then turn off the lights in the room just to see the reflection of the green light so I can tell if it's charging or not before leaving the room. Most of the time I have to go…

YUP! Oh Yes!: Electronic Training Collars

I have two Beagles. Before this product, getting her to come to me while I was smelling was literally impossible, and yes, I know exactly what the word "literally" means. The thing is, sometimes you need to be able to reach out and "touch" your dogs wirelessly. This is a wireless leash once you learn how to use it properly. That's really what this product is. I can now hunt my dogs with "less" fear of being hurt or harassed by large animals. I say "less" because they are dogs, but let me say…
