Cheap product and terrible customer service

Cheap product, poor design and terrible customer service . I've been trying to get them to save a customer for days, but a company like this clearly feels like it's too big to deal with an angry customer or bad review, but I'll let it go anyway. Don't waste your money. This product is so terrible. We bought it for my 3 year old son. If your child has an unusually large head, the headphones will not fit. They seemed adjustable, but they're so cheaply made that they go from an already too great low to a ridiculously high high. So if you put them on the average or even slightly large head of a 4-5 year old expect them to fall off. Worse, if they fall, expect them to break. They are so cheap. My sons fell about 3 inches and broke. Any toy intended for preschoolers must be able to withstand a drop greater than 3 inches. Even when they clicked, they did it right on target. Luckily I saw it, but it could be dangerous for the child. The company believes that even poor design is the reason for their demise. The fall constitutes accidental damage, therefore they cannot be replaced or repaired in any way. Well if you have a preschooler with a giant skull this might work, but even if it fixes the size issue it won't fix the crappy quality. let's say 3-6. I doubt a child over the age of 3 will find this least interesting. It doesn't play any music as you would expect and isn't very educational. It says a lot and looks cheap. My almost 3 year old loved the idea of his own headphones the most and they didn't last more than a few uses. I have to say, even though I knew vtech products weren't always the best. Best quality, I thought maybe we just have a faulty pair of this toy so I contacted vtech directly and they told me if I want a replacement go to their site and buy another pair! So either I have a broken pair and they want me to buy another one! Or it's just cheap and they're all like that and want me to buy another one. I expected more from vtech and said so. I asked them 3 times to help replace the broken part but they refused. After coming to write a review and then reading other reviews about this and the company, it seems I was wrong and that kind of quality and customer care is the norm and not the exception. It seems like cheap and faulty products are the norm and contribute to this terrible customer care and here we are. But lesson learned. I've never had a problem with Leapfrog products, so I'll stick with them. It's garbage. Don't waste money and time.
