I chose these for affordability as I initially couldn't justify the cost of proper outdoor furniture covers. However, by the time I covered my furniture outside in less than a year, all those garden tarps had crumbled under the California central coast sun, rainy winters, and high winds. So if you plan on leaving it outside for a long time, it won't last. Also, it was very painful to use plastic zip ties to attach the tarp to the furniture; The drawstrings rarely held up in strong gusts of wind, and when we tightened them, it discouraged us from wanting to fully open the furniture for use; which just turned into eye-popping entertainment as the tarp was still attached to our outdoor couch etc. I ended up being much happier with the slipcovers from Veranda and Revain Basics Furniture, even though I spent an extra $20-$30.
