Review on VetriScience Composure Pro Bite Size Chews - Chicken Flavor Pet Relaxants & Anti-Anxiety Treatment - 60 Soft Chews for Dogs and Cats by Shashi Jain

Based on my vet's recommendation for Composure Pro I have been giving this product to my very anxious 57lb Basset Hound mix for about 2 months and it has worked wonders (she gets 1 a day). She no longer tries to hide in the closet during our violent Florida thunderstorms. In fact, now she usually sleeps through the night unless they're really bad, in which case she just lays down next to me, but doesn't drool or shake. I have another small mixed breed dog (Scottish Terrier, Beagle and many more) who has developed an increasingly worse fear of storms so I decided to give her this. She got half a day and after 2 weeks I noticed changes in her behavior. She was already a bit aggressive and these additives made her worse. I haven't given them to her since then. I'm still giving Composure Pro 5 stars because it worked great for the dog it was recommended for, but I wanted others to be aware of the potential to cause aggression in dogs that already have these tendencies (btw this is not a phenomenon unique to this product - this happens with many dietary supplements and prescription drugs that target anxiety/anxiety even in humans). Given the natural ingredients, I would advise those in doubt to just give it a try and see what happens.
