When I took the reel out of the box to use, I wasn't sure if I had made a mistake in purchasing it. They are similar in texture to the thinner white paper towels (as opposed to the regular beige towels) you find in public restroom dispensers. I hope that many people will understand this analogy. That's why I scored 1 star for softness. I am really surprised by the quality of these towels. I save a lot. Two sheets of these towels soak up (under and around the cutting board and on the floor under the counter) the tomato juice that drips off my cutting board. I say let them try!
