This is an excellent, high quality TV mount. It's very durable and includes a set of all kinds of screws that different TVs might need, making it suitable for almost any TV. The scant 1 inch allows for a very low profile, but still allows enough room for cables and airflow around the TV to avoid overheating that can damage the electronics or shorten its lifespan. If your TV has a false back or you would like a little more distance from the wall, perhaps for extra space for cables, two different spacers are supplied that you can use. This includes 0.1" (2.5mm) or 0.87" (22mm) plastic spacers as needed. My new 75" Samsung QLED came with its own washer due to the recessed mounting holes and tapered back, so I used the ones that already push the TV away from the wall a bit. So my gap was just over 1 inch but it still looks great and is very smooth. Highly recommended for a solid connection and with all the hardware likely to go with any TV available.
