I felt overpriced and disillusioned with the 'X2' model (the drivers were connected out of phase and generally sounded bad) so I finally decided to try this set. I'm glad I did! These are truly pseudo-audiophile quality helmet speakers. They sound better than some (most under $200) high-end over-the-ear/over-ear headphones I've used in the past. I use them straight from the Sena SMH10R bluetooth module and can get quite loud undistorted sound. If you want to listen to music while driving, you should try these headphones. They fit perfectly on my Shoei RF-1100 helmet after removing the velcro earpads inside the helmet.
