Highly recommended!

I felt overpriced and disillusioned with the 'X2' model (the drivers were connected out of phase and generally sounded bad) so I finally decided to try this set. I'm glad I did! These are truly pseudo-audiophile quality helmet speakers. They sound better than some (most under $200) high-end over-the-ear/over-ear headphones I've used in the past. I use them straight from the Sena SMH10R bluetooth module and can get quite loud undistorted sound. If you want to listen to music while driving, you…

  • Not just useful for its intended purpose
Cons
  • Embarrassing

Mediocre and not worth the price.

Cheap parts, cheap cables, one of the cables to a speaker broke and the sound was mediocre. My phones are designed to turn off the headphone output when they realize nothing is plugged in and these speakers don't seem to have good jacks to make a solid connection, the output goes out all the time, that never happens with regular headphones . I'm so sad that a $20 pair of headphones is better than these, but unfortunately it's illegal in my state to drive with headphones on, but not speakers. I…

Great helmet speakers

Just purchased and installed in my Shoei RJ Platinum helmet. They fit perfectly into the cut-outs in the helmet. I didn't even use glue and they are safe. Connected my iPhone and WOW. Great little speakers. I rode my bike (Honda Goldwing) first on the surface roads with various speed limits (up to 45 mph) and then on the freeway where I hit 80 mph to test the sound. They were more than loud enough until around 75-80 when wind noise tended to drown out much of the quieter music. On shallow roads

Much better than headphones

I really like these speakers. I use them in my racing helmet to communicate with the mechanics on the track. Before the purchase I wore headphones under a balaclava. They were PITA because they came out of my ear half the time I put the helmet on my head and I had to take the helmet off to fix it. Add to that the fact that long-distance races with headphones become uncomfortable after the first hour, let alone three. I don't have this problem with these speakers as they stay in the helmet and…

Excellent when used with Chatterbox X1 Slim

I bought these speakers to use with my Chatterbox X1 Slim because the speakers that came with Chatterbox were the worst speakers ever. They distort the sound, crackle and have no bass. I received the Tork X-Pro speakers on Tuesday and tried them with my phone and the sound was great. I used the volume control cable and the audio was a little louder at full volume, but not by much. When I received the 3.5mm talker adapter on Thursday I quickly fitted it into my motorcycle helmet and oh my god…

  • Consistent test results

  • Annoying

High price but very good sound

Very good, a bit expensive but better than the original speakers that came with my Cardo Scala Freecom. I can actually hear parts of songs that I couldn't hear with my previous headphones, there's good separation and clarity of sound. I didn't give 5 stars because they are expensive and I can't say how well they will last. I installed them in a Schuberth C3 helmet. I think for some people who say they aren't loud enough, there are a few things you need to do. First, if your helmet is noisy and…

INCREDIBLE SOUND good for helmet communication

Like most people I don't write many reviews unless the product is really good or really bad. These speakers are not very good. You are impressive. I'm a tough nut. I have a number of SENA SMH10 helmet intercoms that work well but offer mediocre sound quality for music. I really wanted something more like the sound produced by good over-ear headphones. Shouldn't a motorcycle helmet be the perfect acoustic chamber? I first tried them with the SENA A0303 headphone adapter to hear them. The…
