Heavy Duty: Bike Rack

Own 2 e-bikes, both over 50 pounds. This holds them perfectly and it's hard to find a mount for heavier bikes in this price range. He's super persistent. I love the fact that it slopes down and that makes it really easy to load. But an important tip! After loading your bikes, do not press the incline release lever unless someone is holding you. These bikes will rock down with a lot of power and weight. You have hurt something if not yourself. This is a two person job. With just a bike, you can use your hand on the lever and your hand on the bike and do it yourself, but it's still valid. The instructions are in Chinglish but they include a lot of 'spare parts' which was a very nice touch. Two of the replacement parts not listed were spare wheel clamps. Very good. I liked the locking bars for that little extra protection in case you stop somewhere. I have a large stainless steel locking pin, but it doesn't work in this unit. This rack uses a threaded bolt mechanism with a key lock that features an "anti-swing" device. Hesitation." It works, but it takes a lot more work with a wrench than just inserting a pin into the receiver hole and locking it in place. But on the road, it's stable. Overall, this is the best e-bike carrier for the money .

Cons
  • Almost never
