I deliberately deferred reviewing this product because I wanted to wait until I had used it for at least three weeks. I've always had stomach issues with regular creatine monohydrate and I usually use creatine hydrochloride. However, the dosage of HCL is quite unclear and dosage recommendations depend on the company you buy it from. To be honest, I've never felt HCL work (even from Kageda) unless I took at least 2+g, which comes at a cost. When I saw Kaged Muscle posting this I wanted to give it a try. When I started taking this creatine, I didn't notice any stomach problems. I typically dose (one scoop) with about 12 ounces of coffee before a workout. It mixes well in hot and cold water but lasts longer in cold water. In terms of performance, I don't see any difference between this and regular monohydrate when it comes to workout-only performance. However, regular creatine monohydrate will give me stomach problems, which in turn can interfere with my training. If I didn't have an upset stomach when taking regular monohydrate I would take it as it's a lot cheaper but since I have it it's my favorite creatine.
