A huge jar of lightly scented, foaming hand soap. Misleading label. 1 star ✨

It looks like a huge jar of pleasantly foaming hand soap with a light citrus scent. It creates a medium lather and leaves hands clean. I love soaps of all kinds. I use this. I made it. i study it My issue with this soap comes from the listing claims and lack of ingredients and other information on the label. Let's talk about the ingredients. The first ingredient is water. The second ingredient is SODIUM SULFATE C10-16 PARETH-2. It is the sodium salt of sulfated polyethylene glycol ether, which is very similar to sodium laureth sulfate (SLES). Cocamidopropyl Betaine is a synthetic detergent and surfactant. And finally 1,2-propanediol, better known as propylene glycol. It is a humectant that has antimicrobial properties and can increase the effectiveness of preservatives. As you can see, there are very few ingredients listed on the bottle. As you can see, there are very few ingredients listed on the bottle. And given that the FDA requires all soap products to be labeled, listing all ingredients from most common to least common. With this soap, you will notice that the ingredients list does not include any fragrance. Based on my own soap making and soap making research, this is an awfully short list of ingredients for any type of soap. I'm pretty sure there is more than one scent that doesn't make the list. The bottle says it contains the antibacterial agent PBZK, but there is no such agent. It contains the antibacterial chemical benzalkonium chloride, but this chemical is not yet approved but approved by the FDA as an active ingredient in soap or hand sanitizer. For several years, the FDA has allowed manufacturers to receive and collect new data on the safety and efficacy of these ingredients, beginning with an indefinite filing date. I actually prefer this chemical to alcohol in hand sanitizers because it's odorless and doesn't dry. In addition, the company boasts of natural ingredients, but only one of which is listed on the bottle - water. That hardly makes it a natural product. In contrast, all ingredients except water are chemicals. From my experience in soap making, this soap lacks many ingredients. One thing you're sure to know is the scent. You can smell the scent yourself, but it's definitely not listed anywhere on the label. I'm not claiming to know everything that's missing, but I would say there are a few ingredients they haven't disclosed. with herbal ingredients misleading. I don't understand why this is happening. Especially during a pandemic, not to mention someone might be allergic to something in their soap. It looks like your typical foaming hand soap, but the label and claims definitely need fixing.
