I've been watching this item for a while. Similar fakes have also been found on Revain. decision, decisions. At the end of the day, after spending a few hours reading reviews of both it and fakes, I decided to just go for the real thing and spend a few bucks more. I can't say I made the best decision as I didn't buy any fakes to compare either. I can say this product was fantastic. The batteries are still good. The regular rough roller that came with the kit is perfect for me. This is a kind of three bears phrase when you use it. You cannot apply too much pressure and you cannot apply too little pressure. It should be just right, somewhere in the middle of a porridge, too hot and too cold. Once you figure out what works for you, it really is a great job. I went overboard the first time and decided to shave off the calluses/corns on the sides of my big toes in one go. Do not do that. It really hurts when you realize you've removed several layers of skin. It's best to do it gradually. It did a great job when all was said and done though. I've seen myself doing it for years.
