An exact replacement for my factory originals.
Easy installation of both units with original equipment. The whole process took no more than 5 minutes. As mentioned by others, finding a bar or board to hold the hood up takes longer than swapping out struts. They are quite sturdy and feel well made. Racks hold the hood very well. easy to lift but requires little effort to close. To close, the upward pressure must be overcome, which is good for holding the hood. But once the trigger point is reached, they close quite easily. My shop wanted to charge $120 to replace it.
