I ordered these needles with high expectations. I thought they were of similar quality to the Knitters Pride needles I usually use. I bought these because I wanted to change the color and while they are very pretty the quality is very poor. I had been knitting for about 1 1/2 hours when the first needle broke. It just broke when I pulled the needle out and the second needle broke 30 minutes later! In the last 15 years I have knitted a lot, mostly with wooden knitting needles. I almost never break a needle when knitting. So far this has only happened once with a well-used set of needles. They usually only break when my husband is sitting on them, but not during my knitting exercise! Unfortunately I had to send them back as the experience was very disappointing. I strongly recommend not buying these needles and will not buy them again. Too bad they would make great Christmas gifts as they are really pretty to look at!
