Description of 0.5 Inch Union Jetstream PVC Pipe Fitting, Schedule 80 Grey EPDM O-Ring Socket X Socket (1/2"), Pack Of 2 Pieces, F1970 SCH80.

Union fitting for connecting and disconnecting two pipes more easily than with couplings. Socket openings on both ends for connecting two male pipes. PVC for strength and resistance to chemicals and corrosion, and an EPDM seal for resistance to oil, water, and some solvents. Maximum operating temperature of 140 degrees F. Meets ASTM D1784 and D2466 standards for quality assurance

Texas Freeze best in my review

With PVC parts in short supply after the Texas Freeze. This was exactly what I needed to do pump house repairs. That's my feedback!

Good quality for my opinion

This is great item. Not readily available at any of my local hardware stores. Nice solid connection and smooth finish. I used these for a saltwater aquarium

I want to like these but finding it difficult. I plumbed my entire aquarium using 4 of these and two of them leak. I am quite frankly irritated because I am going to have to redo most of my plumbing because of it. I checked the seals, and have reseated them multiple times but have not been able to stop the slow drip. I am also having a slow drip at the union of 1 of 4 of this brands 1" ball valve.They look nice, but I can't leave a positive review on 50% success especially after having to redo…

Solid product for my opinion

Very good design, much more solid than the fittings sold at the hardware store or Home Depot. No leaks whatsoever even when hand tightened.
