Polyester cord - resists effects of sunlight better than most other cords. Wound on a hard white flat spool to eliminate tangling.

Flimsy Material - Save Your Money

As a hesitant buyer, I was disappointed with this product. Through trial and error, I found that the 1 4mm alabaster window blind string was made from a flimsy material that easily breaks. The pros are that it is easy to install and looks nice at first. However, the cons outweigh the pros as the string breaks after a few uses leaving you with a useless blind. Save your money and invest in a higher quality product for your home and kitchen.

Feels like a durable, premium quality cord - a perfect replacement for my original cord

This inexpensive cord bundle saved me about $120 replacing non-standard brackets. I was able to get the sizing perfect using the seller's hint of comparing the thickness to a penny or a nickel. I watched a few YouTube videos and figured out how to replace drawstrings with blinds. I have 2 fairly large 55" x 76" aluminum blinds from the year 2000 that are still in excellent condition, however the cords were worn and I was unable to raise the blinds. Wire with old wire, with a flame, then twist…
