Not recommended best in watch

returned. Difficult to program and then once programmed it was the exact time for 15 minutes. I haven't used it for waterproofing for a long time. Bought the watch for a visually impaired person so legibility is not an issue. Language time plays exact time

Pros
  • hands free
Cons
  • weak

Painful setup process.

Not excited yet. It's a big pain to set up. put it on est. Put it by the window in the evening. Another hour of free time. The voice is slightly distorted. I'll try again, if it doesn't work I'll go back. updated. Finally set the right time. The instructions are bad to say the least. I followed what was posted in the questions section.

Pros
  • Sturdy design
Cons
  • Sad packaging

Great for a 90 year old dad

My 90 year old dad loves a talking clock. He has significant vision and hearing loss and the watch is helping him be more independent. However, they are either fragile or he is very picky about the watch. This is his third watch. To be honest, he's probably very picky about his watch. Ha ha. Still a great and wonderful watch and I will keep buying it for him!

Pros
  • Not just useful for its intended purpose
Cons
  • Lots of things

My 92 year old mother is very happy with this watch

My 92 year old mother is very happy with this watch. The voice is clear and understandable. The buttons she needs to press to control the talking clock are easily accessible and easy to use. The only downside, and a small one at that, is the size of the watch. They look big on her hand, but getting the atomic clock capabilities she wanted was a compromise. The clock was easy to assemble.

Pros
  • Looking forward to
Cons
  • Infinitely slow

Overall good product

Overall this is a good product. However, there are two problems: 1) The voice for the "talk" function is a bit quieter and cannot be made louder; and 2) when the battery dies, it's easier to just buy a new watch. I took my mother's old talking watch to an experienced jeweler to have the battery replaced and he explained how difficult it was to change the battery and how one wrong move could damage the watch and make repairs uneconomical.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Hard to say

Most disappointed in women

The first part of the watch worked well but the strap broke on the first day. I figured I should give them a second chance and ordered others to replace the ones with the broken belt. The second watch came a few days later and I sent the first watch back. The second clock wouldn't set even after we left it for over 24 hours and it was turned off for an hour. I tried following the instructions to set the clock manually and failed. This was bought for my 87 year old father for Father's Day, his…

One star because the watch was not working when it was delivered.

The clock didn't work when it arrived, the second hand wasn't moving so I couldn't set the clock and the voice prompts didn't work. If the battery was replaced, the clock would still not work. I bought this watch for a special needs blind friend who has the exact same watch but it is starting to fail. He loves his watch and would like to replace it with the same one. He was so excited when I told him it arrived and I had a hard time telling him to return it. I've ordered another one and hope…

Pros
  • Special Offer
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

The instructions are difficult to follow. You were important.

Instructions are hard to follow. It is noteworthy that they were not written by an American. I finally managed to set it up using my knowledge of my son's previous watches. Now it works fine. In general, the watch did not convince me. My son is disabled and needs a watch like this, but this time he wanted something different, different. When the batteries run out, the jeweler must order batteries to order. When he was done it was just as cheap to order a new one because they were so difficult…

THIS WATCH IS THE BOSS!

The description sounded great as I have poor eyesight. The watch arrived in good condition and on time. However, I gave it 2 stars (because it means I don't like it) because although I followed the instructions when trying to set the clock, after hours of trying I was not able to do it. I didn't get past step 3 to select the time zone - the watch didn't give me that option at all (believes it's the boss). The clock was on ET, and while the hands on the dial pointed to 1:30, a voice once said it

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Out of fashion
