So I couldn't find satin nickel locally and used a white version that just doesn't quite fit. I am in the process of changing from cheeky nickel to satin nickel for all door hardware and this was the right color and price. Nothing to say, as expected, sturdy construction. Comes with a gasket, which by the way has to be placed between the stopper and the upper part of the hinge. I've always turned it upside down and found that it doesn't do anything at the top of the stack. Good value for money.

In the photo in the listing, the plastic part that abuts the door is translucent. This is similar to other hinged doorstops I've bought locally - they have a white round bumper that touches the trim and a translucent flat piece that rests against the door. Unfortunately, the actual product I received has a bright white piece of plastic pressing against the door. Try this in place of a spring loaded rubber bumper that screws into the bottom outside corner of the door. It is adjustable and well made. The only potential difficulty is having to remove the top hinge pin from the hinge to insert it. I had a very hard time getting my new pivots off and that's certainly not the fault of this product. We just painted the inside of our house. The painters repaired 2 holes in the walls where the doorknobs were punched through the drywall and installed new plinth doorstops. Next, a new floor was laid. The floor layers quickly patched the holes in the drywall despite the doorstops. When the painters came back to touch up, they repaired the drywall AGAIN.
